MANTRA & CHANTING

šŸ•‰ For thousands of years, mantras have been used for mental and spiritual transformation. The word "Mantra" stems from two Sanskrit wordsā€”manas (mind) and tra (tool/vehicle/cross over), literally meaning ā€œA Tool for the Mind". Mantras can be word(s), phrase(s), syllable(s) or sound(s). ā  Mantra is a mind projection in either a spoken or mental manner. Whether chanted, whispered, or mentally recited, Mantra is a powerful meditation and therapy tool, as it is a technique for regulating the mind.

Each Mantra has its own quality, rhythm, and effect, and there are numerous Mantras. ~Every thought or feeling that we have is on a vibratory frequency. ā  Projecting a Mantra by voicing it in Chant, in the prescribed way engages the abdominal area, where the physical vibration originates, and then it moves into the lungs, and even the circulatory system vibrates. ā

Chanting produces physical vibrations through the concentrated and intentional sounds from the human body instrument. Chants create thought-energy waves, and the body instrument vibrates in tune, rhythm and trance, and evokes through incantation and vibration, intention with attention, creating an individualized neuro-linguistic, somatic, spiritual effect, for and by the chanter. ā {of you, by you, through you - perfection for you}

By using Mantras and Chanting we can direct the mind into a higher vibratory frequency. ā  Even just listening to mantras regulates blood pressure, the heart rate, brain waves and the adrenalin level, and just like chemical medicines - there are specific chants for specific purposes and intentions.
