The word sadhana comes from the Sanskrit root, sadhu, meaning βgo straight to a goalβ. To progress in Sadhana, oneβs awareness must be fixed on a single point, to have a single direction to travel. β Sadhana is a daily spiritual practice, an awareness ritual of connecting with Source, and connecting with your truth; βa technique of disciplining yourselfβ. The daily practice, whether is it yoga, meditation, journaling, working-out, (etc), along with self-reflection strengthens the muscle of spiritual growth. β β
There are no restrictions or rules on how to do Sadhana; it is the focus and intention that is important. It is in the routine of focusing and committing to the mind, body and spirit in the pursuit of a spiritual goal, that provides relief from suffering, the surrender of the ego, the cultivation of inner joy and peace, and access to tap into universal intelligence β connecting yourself to your soul. Being intentional and concentrated in your daily spiritual practice is the only thing. β β
The βlearningβ and the βlight that shinesβ comes through experience, not studying β because you are feeling what is happening inside of you, because of you. Sadhana is a personal, individual spiritual effort; your personal process to bring out your best. Customize your daily practice for yourself because doing sadhana is important, not how it is done.β
β
Remember, befriend your mind. β
